The trails are mostly down to the dirt, there is nothing to ride on unless we get more fresh snow. We’ll keep you updated if the conditions change!

A few things to remember about our groomers and trails:
– Groomers are out there to help you have a better riding experience and always have the right of way.
– Please move off the trail when groomers are approaching and allow them to safely pass.
– If you approach a groomer from behind, kindly wait for the operator to signal you to pass.
– Grooming can take place at any time during the day or night, so stay alert.
– Always ride on the right side of the trail.
– Ride safe and ride sober.

Well a little surprise this morning in Grayling with a few inches of wet and heavy snow on the bottom and a little lake effect on the top. There is still ice on Lake Margrethe but there are places where the ice is opening up. I am still at home this morning so I havent actually drove in this snow. It looks nice out there and I would bet someone will ride in this but it will be right down to the dirt. Its supposed to go to about 35 today. Still 7 more days of this sled season. Took the 2 pics below out my front door. Thanks for checking in. Pete

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Precip will gradually taper through the evening. Temperatures also climb above freezing through the overnight, remaining there until Thursday evening. The bad news is that gusty winds return late tonight into Thursday. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Additional icing across the area appears less likely today with only a glaze of ice possible for some areas. Snow will continue to spread across the area, leading to 1-2" of wet accumulations for many south of the bridge before switching over rain. Strong winds are expected today with gusts to 40+ mph, potentially leading to more down trees and limbs from recent icing. Does anyone have any information that would explain why Antrim County was excluded from the the governor’s State of Emergency? Are there any numbers showing ice accumulation for Antrim as compared to surrounding areas?

Did you know a 30ft diameter tree can weight up to 7,000 extra lbs with that amount of ice on it? Crazy.
